Online tax filing on Jibaya'tic: who must file online and how to register

Since 1 January 2026, article 111 of the 2026 Finance Law requires taxpayers under the real profit regime or the simplified regime for non-commercial (liberal) professions, which includes every company, to file their tax returns online on Jibaya'tic, the DGI (tax administration) portal, wherever their tax office is equipped for online filing. For the IFU (single flat-rate tax), joining remains optional. To join, you hand in a file by appointment at the reception desk of your tax office, which gives you your access code in a sealed envelope when you file it.

Jibaya'tic in one minute

Jibaya'tic is the DGI's online filing and payment portal. You use it to fill in and send your returns (G n°50, G n°4 and the others), pay online and request some tax documents. Since 2026, it is no longer optional under the real regime: it is the normal filing channel.

Registering (joining) step by step

  1. 1

    Download the joining file

It is in the portal's Documentation section: the application form and, if someone else is to act for you, the form to appoint a representative.

  2. 2

    Put the file together

Fill in the form with the requested details about the business and its representative, and attach the documents the file asks for.

  3. 3

    Book an appointment on Jibaya'tic

Choose a date that suits you on the portal to hand in the file.

  4. 4

Hand in the file at your tax office reception

At the reception desk of the office that holds your file: large companies directorate (DGE), tax centre (CDI) or local tax centre (CPI).

  5. 5

    Receive your access code

It is given to you in a sealed envelope when you hand in the file. It only works for the first login: you then replace it with a personal code.

  6. 6

From the portal's online filing and payment area, with the code you received.

Filing and paying each month

  1. 1

    Prepare your figures

The month's sales, purchases and salaries fill in the G n°50. The portal cannot work out what your accounts do not give it.

  2. 2

    Enter the return

The online form follows the lines of the paper form. Until you send it, the return stays a draft that only you can see.

  3. 3

    Check, then send

Once sent, a return cannot be changed online. Check every amount and every period.

  4. 4

    Pay

The portal allows online payment. For a business under the DGE, the return is only received once paid online.

  5. 5

    Keep the proof

Download and file each month's filing receipt and proof of payment. You will need them for any tax roll extract request or in an audit.

What else the portal does

  • Request a certificate of existence (C20) and a tax roll extract online, then track the request under the Tax documents tab.
  • Give access to a representative, such as your accountant, using the DGI form to appoint a representative.
  • Read the online services guide published by the DGI, in French and Arabic.

Common pitfalls

  • Waiting for the first deadline to join: you need an appointment and a filed application before you get your codes.
  • Losing the sealed envelope or forgetting your personal code: ask your tax office what to do, and never share your codes outside a written mandate.
  • Sending without checking: a sent return can no longer be corrected online; you have to go through your tax office.
  • Confusing a sent return with tax paid: check that the payment went through, especially if you are under the DGE.
  • Thinking the IFU is covered by the obligation: it is not, but joining voluntarily is still useful for paying online.

Frequently asked questions

I am under the IFU: must I register on Jibaya'tic?

No, it is not compulsory. Article 111 of the 2026 Finance Law covers the real regime and the simplified regime for non-commercial professions. You may join voluntarily to file your G n°12 and G n°12 bis and pay online.

My company has just been set up: when should I join?

As soon as your tax file is open (G n°8 and NIF). Your first G n°50 is due by the 20th of the month after you start trading, and joining takes an appointment and a filed application.

Can I still hand in my G n°50 at the counter?

Under the real regime, online filing has been compulsory since 1 January 2026. Transitional measures allowed counter filing in early 2026, but they were temporary. If you do not have your codes yet, contact your tax office straight away.

Can my accountant file for me?

Yes, if appointed as your representative. The DGI provides a form to appoint a representative, who can then act for you on the portal.

I made a mistake in a return I sent: what now?

A sent return cannot be changed online. Speak to your tax office to correct it, bringing the filing receipt and your supporting documents.

Where can I find help?

The Jibaya'tic online services guide, in French and Arabic, can be downloaded from the portal. The DGI also gives the address mcf.assistance@mf.gov.dz for questions about joining and online filing.

Can Neuron file for me?

No. Neuron only fills in business setup forms and does not do bookkeeping or routine returns: this guide is free and all you need to do it yourself. For bookkeeping, see an accountant.
